Daniella - I just thought I'd drop you an email to thank you for all of your help. You have definitely helped in changing my mind-set to concentrate on the important things in life and to teach me new ways in dealing with this. It's like a whole new way of living and I feel so much better for it.  

I've sent off for the two books you recommended and am determined to carry on with the meditation, self talk and mindfulness moving forward.  I'll miss my evening sessions but I'm so glad to have had them with you - it was definitely a life changing decision to admit I needed help. (J)
 


Even though we haven't worked out romantically, I can't thank you enough for everything you have done for us, thanks to you the last year of our relationship was filled with so many happy memories and respect. Personally I felt I needed a third party to listen and observe, hence why I (we) contacted you. That is where the sessions were so useful, especially my solo session, after our first one together. The joint sessions were more offloading, but they highlighted where our problems were, much of which were just stubborn refusals to see each other's point of view and understand how to react when there was an argument or fight.

Speaking openly and honestly in an environment where we could, and knowing we wouldn't hate each other afterwards, really helped. It was an hour to offload in front of a professional who highlighted points that helped make us aware of where our issues were, and where they might be resolved. (G)
